When consumers have their tires replaced, a fee is often charged to dispose of the old tires. This fee is then paid for the collection and disposal of the waste tires to be recycled, and is in many states, required by law.

The Company charges fees for the collection and disposal of used tires at our waste tire recycling centers. The scrap is collected and disposed of from select factories and outlets.

The tire recycling process to recycle scrap tires ensures the entire tire gets recycled, some parts to make concrete, rubber asphalt, and rubber mulch. While other parts of the tire can be used in new markets by recycling tires to recover oil, to make energy, and to make activated carbon.

Scrap Tire Recycling The scrap is processed by a system of machines causing the mechanical breakdown of the scrap rubber and waste tires into a usable form of rubber, steel and fiber.

This system of machines starts with buffing machines which strip the tread from a tire, while de-beader machines remove the steel bead. Then, the balance of a tire casing is processed by shredding machines, while rasper machines remove the steel belts and fiber.  Machines that process this now cleaner and smaller material into crumb rubber are known as granulators.

This recycling process adds value to their business by providing equipment and access to markets to recycle waste. This ensures product sales and consistent revenue to the recycling company for disposal.
